Hm, I was pretty surprised to get a Ruby drop when venturing away from Ascalon city in post searing. It was my first character which I played for only a week. I never found one again.

The green item drops have been very disappointing, I played GW for like 2000+ hours and only got 3 or 4 green drops. Basicly I have to buy all my good items from other players.

Canthan days:
req8 Water Magic Shadow Staff HCT all 10% (customized, then when I was broke, I salvaged it)

Elona days:
req9 Fire Magic Dragon Breath Wand - inscribable (sold for 50k)

Other than those, pff.. worst luck in North America.

Oh ohh and lately, while playing the dreadful Hard Mode with an effective PVP build and a Hero/Henchmen combo that surprises me,

req9 Fellblade inscribable (using it now on my PVP warrior) it's Blue. but it works just as good as a gold one.

that's about the only good skin I've ever seen since Loot Scaling began.

As sad as it is, my very first gold drop is my most memorable one...yet I don't even know what it was other than a gold axe. I was questing with a PUG in Maguuma Jungle and I saw a gold drop for me. I was soooo excited that I picked it up and noticed the group was way ahead and in a frantic haze to catch back up with the group and ID the drop, I accidentally salvaged the drop instead of ID'ing it.

I'm sure the stats were probably pretty lame on it; however, I will never forget my first gold drop. I was so mad at myself, but meh...most of us probably got a bonehead story like that.

Back in the day it was 10/10 sundering and weapons didn't drop with 2 perfect mods and a perfect dmg mod

I did get a req 10 & 11 colossal in 2 days when they still were selling for much. Made about 100K + 100E + 30 shards

My 2nd gold item drop ever in D'Alessio Seaboard mission but couldn't pick it up because I was already dead and the rest of the team hadn't a resurrect.-.-

A gold req 9 Chaos Axe drop while soloing Fissure of Woe, thought I had picked it up while fighting, but a few moments later died and realized I missclicked it.XD

Two spring to mind a Gold Crys Sword from the magic box that was in Dreadnaughts, and the most sentimental is my first sigil I actually won, still have it..

First omg drop was sup absorb, then I found out that the price had seriously dropped to 1k or so. Since then, I've gotten a few sup vigs, still holding them for now. Also, on first doa run, got a grim ghostly staff and a gem that was worth 50k or so.

req11 15^50 mursaat hammer way back. i had entered abbadon's mouth solo with my ranger and started trapping making use of that chimera of intensity. i believe it was the second jade armour to die which dropped the hammer. sold for 100k+10e but i was stoked.

My first superior vigor, back when ettin farming on NKP was great, when sup vigors were 100k, I got one, immediately went to LA to sell it, and got scammed out of it for 100g.
